Growth and Grace

Here I am, two years and four months into running my own business. What started as an idea during my morning coffee is now in full swing. I knew I was capable but was full of doubts. First off, if you doubt yourself, just stop right there. Don't ever think that! If I can do it, so can you. Looking back to when I first registered Sol Sistaz, my confidence level was there but on survival mode. I was scared but excited! I had done this years ago, but that was a different kind of work, and it involved my ex. This time around, I didn't have someone holding my hand. This time, it was all me.
Like prior to 2020 and since 2024, I have been constantly changing. I am growing as a person. I am growing into a business women and I am so proud of myself. From the first time I switched that power button on my heat press, I've never looked back. I clearly remember that day, my husband looked at me and said, "What are you waiting for?" You see my Heat Press sat carefully in my kitchen area for about 2 weeks before I ever used it. I was so afraid I was going to ruin my $1400 machine or melt a tshirt.
Honestly, though the first time I did do my first design and pressed it, it was a high I've never felt.
There have been countless moments like that. From creating my own website, designing my own logo's, to taking orders in person, doing my first market and marketing my brand in countless conversations. All those baby steps have made what I'm doing today a reality I love.
Along the way, I've continued to nurture some important relationships and have had the privilege of making new ones. I've met some of the nicest, most genuine people in the state of Arizona, and it has made all the difference! Like Sol Sistaz, my personal life is flourishing. I am so grateful. I've had countless bonding moments on the trail and water with my Sol Sistaz. Each one, so strong and full of life. All amazing women with the hearts of gold. They have taught me so much. They have guided, healed & loved me unconditionally. Each one of those beautiful women give me so much joy & love. Thank you.
The other day, I was telling my dear friend that this is the essence of it all. We should support one another. We need this time! That's the purpose of Sol Sistaz. It's about uplifting each other and uniting to form a comforting space that doesn't judge your flaws but offers you grace. I hope you can make some time for yourself and Sol Sistaz to ground your soul. It's so important. It makes all the difference in each of us.
This weekend I am taking some time. I will be out on the trail trying to capture the beauty in pictures but most importantly, I will be connecting with my Sol Sistaz, myself recharging my soul. Our souls. We are souls in nature.
